The mission of Specialty Heat Treating is to be recognized as an industry leader in providing World Class Thermal Processing Services.  This is achieved through our commitment to Excellence, Continual Improvement, and strong, mutually Respectful Relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, and communities.

Founding Principals

Specialty Heat Treating was founded in 1973 with the objective of providing "High Quality-On Time Heat Treating Services" for each of its customers. From the start, the company's pursuit of that objective has been based upon a commitment to three principles:

Quality Policy

In providing World Class Thermal Processing Services to its customers Specialty Heat Treating is committed to the continual improvement of its quality system and the professional growth of each team member.  Quality objectives are established and monitored through the Operations Scoreboard Process.

Every employee at Specialty Heat Treating is expected to meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with the quality system.  If expectations are not met, we communicate with the customer or employee, determine the root cause, and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
